Partners: City of Newark, Invest Newark, NJIT, NJII, and PSE&G.

Living Cities: City Accelerator Cohort 5: $100,000 grant award in 2018-2019 to fund Cohort 2 of Invest Newark’s Contractor Developer Initiative (CDI) and the development of an online procurement portal for Newark. Living Cities is a collaboration of 18 of the nation’s largest funders.

Surdna Foundation: $150,000 grant award in 2018-2019 to study the City of Newark’s business ecosystem and to create a procurement portal.

$120,000 in bank grant awards in 2015 from Bank of America ($75K), TD Bank (20K), and Wells Fargo ($25K) foundations. These three grants (awarded to Newark CEDC) added 96 jobs to the Mayor of Newark's 2015 Summer Youth Employment Program.
