Among the elected officials participating in the installation ceremony at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church: Jersey City Mayor Steve Fulop, Governor Murphy, Hudson County's freeholders, state Assembly members, state senators and the new county clerk. Numerous other community leaders attended including clergy from various churches, NAACP members, and municipal and state employees. Churches collaborated to provide festivities including a newly formed Jersey City Mass Choir and liturgical dancing.
