First Lady
Dana Wilson

Lady Dana Wilson is the First Lady of Mt Calvary Baptist Church in Jersey City, where her husband Rev. Steven A. Wilson, Sr. is the Pastor. She is also the Executive Director of the Mt. Calvary Baptist Community Development Corporation, a 501c3 non-profit. Mt Calvary CDC’s Mission: To use our gifts and talents to serve others in need, as faithful stewards of God’s Grace (I Peter 4:10).

She is the Steward Leader of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church’s Women’s Ministry “Sisters United in Christ” and has participated in the Women’s Choir. Lady Wilson also serves as the Church’s Webmaster, Social Media Manager, and the audio/visual ministry member. Lady Wilson is the Treasurer of the Christian Fellowship Baptist Association. Prior to joining Mt. Calvary, she served as a trustee for 17 years at St. Matthew Baptist Church in Roselle.

Lady Wilson is the Executive Director of the National Educational Network, Inc. (NENI), an educational non-profit that she co-founded with her husband. Examples of recent NENI programs include a literary /journalism program for girl scouts; financial literacy for women and minorities; the NED group (a national Linked In group for 500+ Non-Profit Executive Directors); Living While Black USA (Facebook group with 4,500 followers; Grants for Newbies (a new Facebook group with 750 followers), and Juneteenth, a national holiday commemorating of the end of slavery in the US. She is also the President of Trinity Support Services, LLC, a consulting firm focusing on economic development, urban planning, faith-based initiatives, grant writing, and professional development.

Lady Wilson is the Vice President of the Metro NYC Chapter of Grant Professionals Association and immediate Past President of the NJ Chapter (NJGPA).  Under her leadership, the New Jersey chapter earned Chapter of the Year Awards in 2018 (for most members recruited and retention) and 2019 (for member retention). She also served as a grant reviewer (judge) for the NJ Department of Education and the NJ Office of Faith-Based Initiatives.

Prior to writing grants, Lady Dana was a journalist, working at the Star-Ledger, Dow Jones, and other newspapers. She received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in journalism from the University of Florida in Gainesville.

Pastor Steven Wilson, Sr. and Lady Dana Wilson live in Edison and are the proud parents of Steven Jr. (age 19) and Noelle (age 13). In her spare time, Lady Wilson enjoys traveling, watching movies, attending concerts, shows and plays, and spending time with her friends and family.
